I got this down in less than five minutes, pretty rare these days. Even more surprising, given the near-constant fatigue I feel these days. Must be the Red Bull I drank this morning. ^^

I thought of this more as a song than a poem, though. A cheerful one. Inspired simply by the line "Smile, my dear, smile." It just popped into my head, really, and wasn't taken from elsewhere.

For some inane reason this resembles an English translation of a typical J-pop song. The kind they use in anime openings.

And yes, they don't kid when they claim Red Bull gives you wings. Heck, it gives me a nuclear jetpack.

Mmm, at least it's sort of a "universal theme"? XD It didn't start off that generic, though. I'd originally intended for it to be more, uh, specific. Or something. Was going along the more pessimistic road before I decided to jerk it off to the other one. (I'm not great with cheerful things, see. They either end up like those round biscuits with serrated edges and holes in the middle or something that people stare at with bewildered eyes and bemused noses and confused mouths that go "uh?")

Nah, Red Bull isn't THAT magical. It's the caffeine and the mild concentration of sugar, nothing much. But ah, if you're talking about Boost chocolate bars...
